JAMMU FESTIVAL (13 16 April ) Jammu with Vaishno Devi Darshans (04 days
/ 03 nights - 3nt Jammu 1nt Katra)
Day 1: 13April. Arrive
at JAMMU Railway station /Airport & be received by our representative. Check in
hotel KC RESIDENCY / ASIA for rest & relaxation & freshening up. Later local sight
seeing - visit Amar Mahal - Dogra Art Gallery - Raghunath temple - Ranbireshwar
temple - Bagh-e-Bahu & Bahu Fort - see panoramic view of Old and New Jammu - Mahamaya
temple and Sun Set over Tawi Bridge. Evening @ 1600hrs join the procession of
JAMMU FESTIVAL starting point from VIVEKANAND CHOWK. See the sights of various
troupes of ethnic Dogras, Sikhs & Gujjars of Jammu Culture. Later in the evening
enjoy the musical program & partake in the unique Dogra Cuisine in Heritage Mubarak
Mandi Complex. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 2: 14April. After early
breakfast depart for Katra. On arrival in Katra Check in hotel Asia Vaishnodevi;
refresh & start trek proceed for Darshans to Bhavan - (13kms) OR move to Helipad
& take Chopper to Bhavan Mata Vaishno Deviji (at extra cost) - On arrival at Bhavan
check into room for wash, change & later go for VIP DARSHANS of Mata Vaishno Devi
Ji - Mata Saraswati Ji & Mata Lakshmi Ji. After darshans partake Heavy Snacks
/ Veg Thali (depending upon the time) at the Shrine Board Bhojanalya. Return to
Katra after Darshans in the evening & overnight stay in Katra.
Day 3:
15April Katra - Jammu (45Kms): Check out & transfer to Jammu. Arrival Jammu
& Check in hotel KC RESIDENCY / ASIA. Rest of Day at leisure. Evening proceed
to Mubarak Mandi Complex to enjoy a classical vocal / instrumental / dance recital
by noted artists. Later transfer back to your hotel. Evening free to visit local
bazaar and Raghunath Temple if time permits.
Day 4: 16April.
Check out after breakfast & proceed to Airport / Railway station for departure
to onward destination. (In case of taking the evening train then we can arrange
for a late check out depending upon availability of rooms.)
